Jacob fleece was divided into its black and white portions, hand washed & hand combed, then drum carded. Grey batts were made from the areas where the black and white parts of the fleece interfaced. Shades of grey vary, some are quite light and some are quite dark.

Jacob has amazing spring. Makes beautiful and stretchy mittens and socks.
